Predict house prices based on the characteristics of residential properties.
Data
The Ames Housing Dataset contains detailed information on residential property sales in Ames, Iowa, USA, covering the period 2006–2010.
The dataset includes 79 property features, such as size, location, quality of construction, and other housing characteristics.
Method
Exploratory data analysis was performed to understand the dataset and identify relationships between property features and sale prices.
Feature selection was based on correlation analysis, followed by feature engineering to create stronger predictors.
A Ridge regression model was then used to predict house prices.
