Problem
Analyze the Iris dataset and evaluate classification models for predicting Iris species from flower measurements.
Data
The Iris dataset is a classic dataset in statistics and machine learning, introduced in 1936.
It contains 150 samples from three Iris species, with 50 observations per species:
- Iris setosa
- Iris versicolor
- Iris virginica
Method
Exploratory data analysis included histograms, scatter plots, and violin plots.
Three classification models were applied:
- Linear Discriminant Analysis
- Logistic Regression
- Decision Tree Classifier
